Eli Loud "Surplus" EP | @Eliloud

Eli Loud has been making his rounds around the Chicago underground music scene more recently resulting in many in the music community to take notice. He was born in a musically oriented family environment but even though he banged the drums, piano and guitar, while making sweet baselines and guitar strums, he found his passion when he added the lyrical diction to his music. His unreleased single was a transition from the producer to the lyricist while in college and he has traversed and crossed that bridge to his current displays throughout the night clubs in the Chicago land area as well as the surrounding cities.

Eli aka Elliot Fourte and a friend formed a duo producing Hip Hop songs to which he lauds the experience as a boost to his more recent projects. He received many kudos for “Parlay” which he recorded with a cell phone application but to which his coded words embellished his listeners. The 2019 EP “Culture” brought Eli Loud to the center of the zone in the Chicago underground but with the release of “Surplus” in April 2020, this artist is being touted as the Hip Hop antidote to this crisis and after you listen to “IDC”, “Elevator”, “Doja”, “Snow”, “Influence” and “Pink Sherbet”, you will understand why as this is where the story begins. With collaborative features from other rising local artists, he is making his statement in the biz. He is feverishly working to finish his upcoming album which is tentatively titled “IV”. Talking to Eli Loud gives the impression that this is the artist everyone overlooks until he speaks with his lyrics and one comes away with the feeling of “Oh Shit”.

Eli is scheduled to perform in several venues in the Chicago land area throughout the fall but until then listen to the lyrical jazzy vocals followed by the drums and the baseline of his current songs which are being followed by twenty five thousand followers monthly on Spotify. (Atlanta, GA) – Soulful songstress, Jayanna’s powerful new single “Die For You” brings to light the role that domestic violence plays in communities across the country and the need for everyone to find their own self love to move past any drama they may be going through.

Developing her love for music at the youthful age of 6, Jayanna sang wherever she could; family events, church, funerals, weddings, plays, and talent shows. However, by the time she turned 16, her calming reality began to take a turn, as she was put out of her mother’s house and forced to find her own way in life. This only deepened her passion for the musical arts as she found comfort in singing about the pain and challenges, she was enduring daily as a teenager fully dependent on herself for survival..

Over the next few years Jayanna was able to reorganize her life, find her voice, and make a name for herself as a passionate, independent artist in the Midwest. “Jayanna is a unique talent,” says Grammy-nominated Super-Producer Miykal Snoddy after hearing her music for the first time. “Her voice is very soulful and her lyrics display a wisdom beyond her years. When she sings, you can feel the emotion of the record and she has an innate ability to convey those feelings whether reflectively heartfelt or sassy and independent. She has the total package.”

Miykal loving what he heard from just that one single, reached out to Jayanna to begin working on her first album, and the rest is music history. Jayanna packed her bags, moved to Atlanta, and never looked back.

Artist Spotlight: William Rideau

William Rideau has always enjoyed having music be a strong and enduring influence in life. Born & raised in the small town of Chalmette, Louisiana, he has been performing since a very young age.   William has fond memories of visiting his great-grandmother‘s nursing home & performing for her behind her room dividing curtain, & performing shows in his dad’s band practice space, to singing in choir & playing clarinet in middle school band, which fostered passion for musicianship continued to deepen.  At 14, William attended his 1st concert. It solidified a desire to become a professional singer & performer. After high school, he went to college in New Orleans & studied music business. During that time, he started doing more things to try to get in the entertainment industry, extra work in films to modeling jobs – anything he could do to get exposure & make connections.  After college William continued developing himself as an artist & attending concerts to study some of his favorite artists. Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Prince, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Jay Z, & Kanye West have all been major influences on him musically.  Now, William Rideau looks to share his musical talent and works with the world, captivating his audience with his vision of music creativity.
